Rockford Consulting was formed in June 2000 by Rosemary Sidaway, an experienced tourism and retail professional, to provide commercial advice and flexible 'hands-on' support services to visitor-facing tourism and heritage organisations nationwide.

Since then, Rosemary has attained track record of successful projects, working alone and in partnership with other tourism consultancies including Tourism Engineers, Connor & Co and Blue Sail, to deliver real value for clients.

And so, Rockford Consulting has evolved into a small 'virtual team' of trusted Associates, each with many years of practical experience at a senior level within the tourism, cultural heritage and leisure sector. We come together as and when necessary to ensure client projects are assigned the appropriate level of skills and expertise.

As income generation and retail consultants, we take a creative approach to devise new revenue streams, that are relevant and do-able, and to develop existing commercial activities, so as to add value to the visitor experience and raise financial performance for our clients. We offer flexible services tailored to meet client needs and budget - from one day consultations and training workshops to project work and ongoing development support. We also take on interim contracts.
